When you’re elected to represent your community, one of the most basic responsibilities is also one of the most important:
Showing up.
That means being present for meetings.
Being prepared to engage in discussions.
And being available to the people you represent.
It sounds simple — because it is.
But it matters.
Representation Requires Presence
County Council decisions impact budgets, services, infrastructure, and long-term planning for our community.
Those decisions deserve full attention and active participation.
Being present isn’t just about attendance — it’s about being engaged, asking questions, and taking the time to understand the impact of each decision.
Consistency Builds Trust
People notice consistency.
They notice when someone is:
- Available
- Engaged
- Willing to listen
And they also notice when those things are missing.
Trust in leadership isn’t built through words — it’s built through actions, over time.
My Commitment
If elected, I will:
- Show up
- Be prepared
- Stay engaged
- Be accessible to the people I represent
Because that’s the job.
No shortcuts. No exceptions.
Simple, But Important
Good leadership doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes it starts with doing the basics — consistently and well.
Showing up is one of them.
